  • Dug up some tatties. Very hit and miss crop this year as some were excellent and others very small (mainly redskins)

Cut a handfull of chives and mint to go in my cheese and ham wraps for my bait tomorrow and scoffed another sweetcorn giving half to the chooks to fight over!

I'm inclined to agree with you, but I think its used to turkey legs.

          • Tidied up around a myrtle which was formerly multistemmed and took up too much space in a small garden. Moved some containerised winter salad seedlings to the bare earth which is no longer shaded out nearby. I may transplant them there, but I'll think on it for a few days. I might wait and plant broad beans in that spot in October instead.

                        • Today was a non-allotment day. Instead went to an antique fair this morning and then a cookery class to learn how to make Sushi! It's been a lovely day. Tomorrow is a hard core house and allotment tidying session.

                          • Spent a couple of hours on the plot is afternoon. Not been down there that much over the last 8 weeks With work and family commitments . Lifted a row of spuds. sorted some slabs for the base of a shed I'm putting up. Was given a 6x6 greenhouse last week. Got to get my bum in gear and move it over to the allotment ASAP. Cleared a couple of beds ready for some muck and winter digging(october). Lifted some leeks for our tea they were fantastic \o/
