Just a few jars of autumn plum jam made today. A 1kg punnet was 74p in Lids on Sunday, couldn't say no. One of the 'elderlies' that I make a Christmas box for loves plum jam, another likes marmalade, another likes strawberry.
Good job I have made them all.
Oh, and I did cook a chicken curry at the same time lolNannys make memories

Took a load of cardboard to the allotment and covered three more 4 foot wide beds until I decide what to plant in them. Munched on grapes and gave chooks another corn on the cob to play with along with a large piece of PSB that had been broken off with the wind.

Scrubbed all the algae of the outside of the tunnel. The difference in the light was amazing. Picked all the tomatoes and put the in trays to finish ripening or make chutney with if they don't ripen. Planted my £5 apple tree from A$da just have to wait and see what happens. Measured my plot the total area is 9 metres wide x 21 metres long. It started raining then so that's all I managed, I'll measure the rest the weekend.

Dug up a chilli plant and potted up, hopefully to overwinter. Planted three Redcurrant bushes, a Cherry tree and some Raspberry Canes and spread a layer of compost over the beds that I cleared earlier in the week. What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
Pumpkin pi.
