Just occured to me, I don't really know the difference.

Sow indoors (presumably that means in your house? - but can it mean in a cold g/h?)

Under glass - I guess, as above (greenhouse wise).

Indoors means not open to the elements as in direct sown, so module/pot sowing either on your windowsill or in your greenhouse. You have to use your common sense on this one a bit as tomato/pepper/cucumber (and tender crops) seed will need higher temperatures which an unheated greenhouse in say January will not give. I would ask why anyone would sow them that early though.
I tend to sow brassicas under unheated gh and all others start off indoors, moving to gh then coldframes, then lottie - over a period of time.

Good advice that. The temperature advice can help (either the sow at temp or the grow on at temp). ie for tomatoes it recommends 20-25 for germination sometimes. This means heated prop or indoors sunny windowsill. Whereas 15 would be ok in an unheated greenhouse.
