query over feeding garlic, and other "stuff"

Hi folks. Could anyone tell me if i should be giving my garlic a boost of feed about now? The garlic went in at the start of february and has been coming on brilliantly but the last couple of days i've noticed the tips are just starting to yellow and overall i don't think they are looking quite so healthy as they were. I'm not sure if these recent developments are "normal" or if the garlic is asking for a boost. 2 weeks prior to planting i put chicken manure pellets on the bed but nothing since. Shallots and onions in the same bed seem okay at the moment but they have come on much slower than the garlic.
Also if anyone has the time could you tell me if i should give early potatoes (in on 21/03) a boost plus strawberries and blackcurrants (in during february) - they are all in beds too.
I have available Chicken manure pellets, blood,fish & bone, growmore and tomato feed.

A general NPK like Growmore as a top dressing in Spring around garlic, then watered in. Growmore is an old fashioned staple but there are other equivalent feeds available.

Strawberries like potash again as a top dressing.

I've also given my strawberries a top dressing of potash, but I never feed garlic. Have you tried the Search button GG? I'm sure there's loads of information to be had on here.

Selfraising had the same query about garlic last year. The suggestion was to feed with chicken manure pellets. I have just done the same for mine

The NPK of Blood fish and bone if the website I looked at is correct is 6:6:6. Nothing too drastic in any of that so should be ok. I've lent my fruit bible (Harry Bakers RHS publication)to an elderly uncle so can't quote from that today but I posted something about a springtime feed boost for strawberries not so long ago.

BFB is fine but potash contains potassium for increased crop growth so the flowers in this case. General feeds give increased root, stem/leaf and crop growth and either BFB or Growmore are NPK.

It could just be the variety of garlic as to the reason why it is getting yellow tipped.

I have two varieties of garlic growing on my plot (been in since Novenber), both are coming on really well in that they are getting tall and thickening out, one variety however has got yellowing tips, the other hasn't. Both varieties are sharing the same "bed" as they were planted in alternate rows, which leads me to presume that it is a trait of the variety rather than a lack of any particular nutrient or trace element in the soil.
