  • Sheep Poo Liquor as a Tomato feed.

I keep on hearing about using dilute sheep poo liquor as a wonderful feed for Tomatoes from all the Older gardeners I know once you have a few fruit set,so I thought I'd give it a go.
Apparently it's rich in potash and trace elements which help to make a better ,tastier fruit.
So on their advice I decided to have a go,and made a video of my 1st practice attempt.
I don't know the results yet but I'll give it a try.
Anyone else got any special recipes ?

Wow! how lovely to meet another sheep doo-doo tea maker... put it there... High Five! (I watched your video, but had no sound, so I apologise)
So would it be possible to let me know your recipe and what you think it contains nutritionally for the plants? I make it myself, but I have no idea of its' specific NPK value, and would love to.

Personally, I'd been led to believe that Nettle Tea was better for Tomato Plants, so I'm keen to glean your knowledge.

I use a mixture of sheep droppings and nettles.

Being near the sea I use a seaweed tea with excellent results. The seaweed also has a relatively high potash content but it also contains all manner of trace elements and other goodies. I have used a liquid feed made from sheep muck but got sick of wandering across the fells picking up the droppings

have a look at what I've been up to:
