    Hi all im new at this veg growing just moved into a new house and theres a previous patch in the garden and its grassed over due to no use whats the best way to bring it back to life

    Dig up the grass and get some veggies in?!

      Agree if they were previously established veg patches - strip of layer of grass - compost it. Give it a good old dig over and either sow some seeds or buy in a few plug plants over the next couple of weeks.

      You'll probably find that once other gardeners know what youre up to they'll donate some surplus plants too.
