in general (eg cauliflower)how much watering does a seemingly well established seedling need?too often i have found a green algae like substance on the surface of compost and assumed i was over watering only to find young plants dying even though compost beneath was dry?should i be watering more from beneath?should i be sowing in smaller cells to get theyre roots growing better?
