    If you were growing snips in a grid, equal distance, what spacing would you use between them?

    4", personally (based on how fat I want them to grow, plus a bit for breathing room)

      How big do you want them?

      As TS says, the size you want them plus a little extra.

          On the square foot info I've got it say 4 parsnips to a sq.
          Location....East Midlands.

            I don't want massive ones, just the size you get on average from the supermarket would be good.

            I would have guessed that 4 inches in a grid would be too close, too close for the foliage, but I have really never got my parsnip distancing right, so I thought I'd see what everyone else does.
