done well with toms last year but got caught out this year as had toms growing but spent two weeks in cold frame as i changed over greenhouse and had a problem with new one,now up and complete but nearly all of my toms have dark red stems,has it been to cold for them in frames?but more importatly will they come on ok or will they need to be replaced?all seem healthy apart from that but growth a little slower than last year,hope i get good news from you but ready for the worst.

I would say probably down to cold. If they've survived so far, they'll probably be quite tough little things! If you get them settled somewhere warm, I think they'll be okay. (although I'm prepared to be corrected as I've never had red stems myself..)
