        had a panic last night whilst reading the forum in bed as didn't check the weather and read here it was frost forecast so doned shoes and off into the night
        put heater in blowaway and covered fleece in g/house over chillis, alls well
        on the plot i must admit iv'e already planted out my runners and borlotti beans but put a double layer 36gsm fleece around them about 3 feet high and checked them tonight and all is well

            potatoes are black, grape busines look a bit pinched at the tops. One tomato plant in the greenhouse looks very sad. Hopefully they will recover

              Local 5 day forecast shows nothing less than a minimum of 9C so lets hope things are starting to pick up.

                My blackened leaves never recovered. Is it ok to just leave them on the plant or should i cut them off?

                  I'd take them off, if there's other leaves on the plant. If they've been damaged, their photosynthesis abilities will be either reduced or destroyed - and also they could be a way for further disease to enter the plant.
