Help!!!!

So I am a student and am attempting for the first time to grow veg in our garden - the garden has not been looked after by previous students and there are massive weeds that cannot be entirely removed

So, I have planted: tomatoes, courgettes, runner beans, peppers, cucumber,

I grew them in pots inside and they all started growing really well but recently the leaves have started drying and curling, there are also white chalky marks on some leaves and stems. It started with the beans and so I planted them out in compost in case they were outgrowing their pots but this has not helped and today I have noticed a tiny yellow bug on one of the leaves.

Has anybody any idea what is going on and what I can try to rescue them?

I will take some photos later if that will help?

Here are some photos of the runner bean and courgette leaves, on the beans they are all lower leaves new growth is fine.

Oh and here is some evidence of the white marks which started on the beans, but have just appeared on my tomatoes this morning.

scorched, scorched, frosted, can't tell, scorched.
As long as your new growth is fine, and you're watering properly, the main plant is doing well, don't worry.
tiny yellow bug might be an aphid, squash them with your fingers.
Check what your last frost date is, then you know when you can plant them outside. They're all [apart from tomato and the depending on type] tender plants that will die in a frost.

Scorched = sun damage. This is either from being behind glass in full sun and getting far too hot, or, it's because water on the leaves has acted as a magnifying glass for the sun, and burnt where the water was. Answer - don't let them get too hot behind glass, and only water the soil, not the leaves.

Frost = too cold. If the overnight temperature is going to be below 5c, bring the pots indoors for the night, or, cover the plants up with something to protect them. That can be polythene, horticultural fleece, old sheets, whatever. Take it off the next morning when it's warmed up a bit.
