    Hi Danny
Yes, the seeds are expensive. I grew these tomatoes for the first time last year - two plants in two large tubs (four plants in all). They cropped amazingly I really did have hundreds if not quite thousands off the plants. I had bowls full of them which I ate like sweets and had so many on the plants still by the time it was getting cooler outside that I made loads of tomato chutney as well.

Needless to say I am growing them again

No, you haven't wasted your time trying to grow them. Enjoy.

Not too late as they are fast croppers. The outlay is worth it as you can save the seeds (I have for the last 2 years).
They are fab tiny toms. Great raw or cooked - excellent fried, and so sweet my son was asking for them for pudding!
Definitely one I will grow every year.
I do them in hanging baskets and get tonnes of toms from them. They also appear to be pretty blight resistant which is a definite plus for outdoor toms.

NB: sown Sunday you should get a decent crop ( I sowed a 2nd batch at the weekend too). They don't however do well sown too early.

I've been looking for a tomato to grow that the children can help themselves to, so I'll order some of these seeds today, thank you!

Well worth growing - I grow every year too now and my daughter loves them. I bought some seeds and sowed them a couple of weeks ago. Got a whole bunch from saved seed too so will see how results compare.

I thought they were F1 so home-saved seed is not likely to come true?
Mind you, you might get some interesting varieties!

They are not F1 and I have been using saved seeds for 2 years now with very good results.

On the windowsill in a south facing room. The temperature varies too much between day and night for a blowaway really.

I've had 100% germination on the windowsill in just a few days. Good luck.
