I've a *load* of beans going on this year. For a couple of reasons I missed out on potatoes too, so have 12 potato planter sacks doing diddly squat, with old compost in. Might bulk the bottom of them out with it, mixed with some BFB, then top up with new/homebrew compost.
I'm planning on using a few for beans - perhaps making a wigwam in them. They're 18" high, and 14" in diameter.. how many frenchies do you think I could get in 1? (climbers)
Like wise, with runners, I was thinking of perhaps 3 - viable?
What about dwarf frenchies, 3/4 per bag, near the edges?
Thanks
