Aubergine in flower

    I've had big problem with aphids on my aubergines so I wonder if me spraying with garlic and Ecover helped with the pollinating.
    Location....East Midlands.

      I find that the flowers have a habit of going moldy. I reckon this is because once pollenated the flowers don't drop, and just attract the mould. So I try to spot them just as they start to shrivel and gently pull the petals off.

      Or maybe I'm just trying too hard.
