Not bad at all. What's the rainfall been like where you are, since they were planted?"Orinoco was a fat lazy Womble"
Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

Wonderful. We're going to have our second lot of new potatoes tonight. They've been grown in a big tub in the greenhouse though.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Very nice haul there I am salivating at the thought of my own.
My Aaran pilot's went in about middle of March (gambled on no frost) got about 25 plants in the ground and some are flowering I reckon 2 more weeks and I shall have to start digging

I am just tucking in to my first dig of Aaran pilots from my folks garden, a little early to pull up but this particular plant was looking a little sorry for itself so I thought to myself... I should put it out of its misery.
So
My first mainly garden harvest meal of the year ingredients:
Italian Mint - for the tatties
Lemon Thyme - to make herb butter for the chicken breast
Parsely - herb butter
Aaran pilot tatties
Beet leaf spinach
Pea shoots
Grilled Chicken Breast
And I know its personal bias creeping in but it was absolutely bloomin' amazing!

Nice going! The leaves on my swifts are going worryingly brown. Gave them a good water today in the hope of them picking up.

Just pulled up a Rocket planted early March I think. The ground was ridiculously dry, I think just enough for a small meal of new pots from one plant. They need another 2 weeks and some RAIN!"Orinoco was a fat lazy Womble"
