Anyone know where you can buy those plastic models of birds of prey? I fancy one to keep away the avian friends in the garden at some times.

Used to use them to try and scare pigeons, useless after a week, went back to the shotgun.
However I have heard the new ones that flap their wings in the breeze work a lot better.

The only thing I've seen that is any use was on a cord at the top of a pole, it flew a bit like a kite and actually moves around with the wind, but I haven't a clue where you'd get one of them ... and it'd probably frighten all the 'good' birds too, which isn't the best thing to do when they're nesting.Comment
