Chicken poo pellets are very high in nitrogen so you tend to get fast, soft growth. Best not used too late in the season around plants that you want to grow through the winter.
Also, if you just scatter them on top they get eaten by dogs (and possibly rats?). When we use them we mix them in with the planting medium so they're not left sitting on the surface.Last edited by Sylvan; 26-05-2011, 02:48 PM.The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.
