  • Bonkers time of year

May, I mean! And probably June too. Everything seems to need to go out all at once.

How's everyone doing with it? I've felt like I'm chasing my tail forever, but I was looking round the plot today and then again at the tubs etc at home and the majority of it is now planted out or about to be in the next few days.

Of course then it'll be setting to and dealing with the weeds that have snuck in whilst I've been planting... grr...

Yep it doesn't stop. I would be happier if the bonkers weather sorted itself out. Summer in Spring when I got sunburnt in April. Now grey skies and wild winds, Summer is Spring and I am windburnt. WHY when we have so much to get out that's tender?!
    Arrrrggghhh!
My days are filled with gardening, growing and shifting everything around.

It'll be more wonderful when I can eat the stuff... lol...

Actually it IS kind of thrilling, seeing the lottie filling up and stuff growing. But it's certainly tiring fitting it all in.

My Tumblers in hanging baskets have been out and in and out and in and out and again back in tonight mainly due to wind. I don't know who is the dizzier me or them.

this is the time of year when I dread going into the greenhouse just because there isn't enough space for everything so I have to give things away or, horror of horrors!!! throw them on the heap.

I took all of my surplus seedlings into the office and sold them. Lol! I had waaaay too many toms. I've decided to keep 50 of them (10 varieties). My neighbour has also said that I can use his garden to grow veg so once the wind calms down I'm going to go over with the last of my extra seedlings and plant them there.

ooooh wow what a generous neighbor you have! I have been trying to get rid of my last surplus tomatos, but living in a city center surrounded by people with no gardens, i am finding it quite difficult! i might have to sacrifice some of them
