    Going well cabbage,
    Alderman peas,
Early spuds PJs and 2nds looking good Ambo
    Sweetcorn green and growing,
    Onions beginning to bulb
    Parsnips,
    carrots
Celeriac now we've finally had a bit of rain
Runner Beans, Purple podded french climbing beans
    Salads in boxes
    Raspberries.
    Toms in the greenhouses
    Not doing well
    Peppers, aubergines in the greenhouses
    Outside toms
Cukes, courgettes and squash/pumpkins barely holding on to life
    Spring-planted strawberries
Sugar-snaps which usually grow to 3-4ft stopped at 18in and gave a miserable yield & ended now!
Swede alive but just sitting doing nothing at 3in high.
Early caulis that gave 3in heads!
    Dwarf french beans

it's been a difficult year so far. Too hot too early, now cooler again and cold at night still.
    Very weird weather!

Thanks to all the rain my weeds are now doing very well. Actually the sweetcorn is leaping up and the cabbages are hearting up.

        Good (ish)
        Blackcurrants & white currants.
Brassicas seem to be doing okay.
Celeriac seems to be doing very well, so far, waiting for the slugs to appear
        Florence Fennel
        Kohl Rabi - green
        Leeks
Lettuce - every single seed of every single variety seems to have germinated.
        Mizuna
        Onions
Parsley - using seed strip, the rest didn't grow
        Radish
Rhubarb - one plant is doing very well.
        Rocket
        Shallots

        Okay, but slow
(The ground is still very cold.)
        Cucumber
        Courgettes
Broad Beans - very few flowers setting
French beans - too many failed to germinate, but we have enough plants to feed us
Parsnips - poor germination, but much better than the carrots.
        Potatoes don't like their bags
Runner Beans, very slow to grow
        Squash

        Not good
Garlic - died back too early probably because of the early hot weather, bulbs too small to find, and will probably regrow in the wrong place
Rhubarb - one plant seems to be on its last legs - might be vine weevil?

        Very poor/zero germination
        Basil
Carrots - 3 packets sown, and now only 14 plants. Have re-sown.
        Coriander
        Capsicum
        Hamburg Parsley - zero
        Jerusalem artichokes
        Kohl Rabi - purple
        Rainbow chard
        Schorzonera
        Spinach
Spring onions - one pack of seeds, four surviving plants

experiments - probably too cold, so very slow
        Sweet potato
        Taro/Eddoe
