Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Butt water sounds a bit Bart Simpson, or is it just me?Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

As an aside would thoroughly recommend using fish tank water - its usually full of nitrate which is nitrogen, as we all know most plants love that. Although don't use salt water fish tank water Not so good lol.
Chlorine on the other hand is a disinfectant so isnt so good for your soil really. Will kill bacteria (thats its function). If left to 'go off' in a water butt for a while it would be fine though.

This is sort of related to the question...
I was down the plot the other day and pulled up some radishes, washed them in the communal water butt (a cattle trough type thing that gets topped up from the mains) and ate them. Baaaaaad move. I'll spare you the finer details but suffice to say I was very ill that night.
