hi is anyone going gardeners world live this year or been before and do you think its worth a visit or not. just want to now before i book my ticket.
thanks all
I've been a few times but the last couple of times I've been I've been very disappointed by the lack of proper gardening stuff and the vast array of expensive tat, some of which has nothing to do with gardening. You have the advantage of being close so you don't have to factor in travel time / cost and if you've never been before the show gardens are always worth a look but in my opinion there are better value shows about - others will probably differ in their views though.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
i went for the first time last year. it was the first gardening show that ive been to so i cant really compare it to anything else. i enjoyed it, i especially liked listening to some of the the gardeners talk, such as Monty Don. however i did think there was a severe lack of fruit/veg growing things, from displays to stalls with seeds/plants on sale. I am going again this year though.
