Courgette Growing Strangely

Four courgette plants, All Green Bush, planted out three, two of them doing really well and a couple of little courgettes ready to pick. The third one is growing, lots of leaves and a few tight little male flowers. It's producing loads of growth in the centre, not a single sign of a courgette, and whilst it looks healthy, it's producing loads of leaves, the growth seems to be a bit dwarfish and odd. They have had exactly the same treatment since day one, and from same pack of seeds etc. Anyone know what the problem might be, and whether I should just chuck the plant in the compost and get a new one in? I've got some other varieties on the go, so not a problem if I ditch it, but I'm curious too, as to what is stopping it developing properly. Sorry no piccies.

I'd wait and see maybe I didn't adjust quite so fast to the conditions as the others .I have three green bush and the same as you one was about 3weeks behind the other two but has started too produce it's first female stalk
