When you told me that comfrey grows quickly after a trim, you weren't joking. I chopped my bush (stop it now) three weeks ago and made the foul smelling concoction laughingly called comfrey tea, which is still brewing. Already the comfrey is a quarter of the way back with some large, healthy looking leaves. Wow.

I really must stop drinking at the same time as reading these posts, thats the second time in a month I've sprayed the monitor laughing.
I keep meaning to get some comfrey and forget until the next post. Now Flo, there is no easy way to say this, but the next time you bush is in need of 'grooming' would you be able to post a bit with roots up the M18?Fantasy reminds us that the soul is sane but the universe is wild and full of marvels

If it stops raining today I'm off out for another harvest of mine. My first lot of comfrey tea is brewing in plastic bottles in the greenhouse - I understand it needs to be left for 4-5 weeks before it's ready?come visit a garden
