Well, my one fingered rootle (!) turned into a whole-handed furtle this morning and proved successful!

I have potatooooeeessss too!! Yay! These are kestrels planted on 3rd April into a potatoe bag.

Hope there are still more in there when I empty the bag in a few weeks

They are in a mushroom tray so you have an idea of size. They weighed just over 500g.

That brings back good memories of our first ever harvest, it's a magical moment. They'll be the best potatoes you've ever tasted.

CONGRATULATIONS to all you potato-rich people. What a positive thread this is to read, it made me go all warm and fuzzy.

Can't wait to harvest mine, just waiting another couple of weeks. Must be patient!

I'm going for a carb overload when the time is right. You may need to send out a search party. Until then you'll find me in the basement rocking backwards and forwards.

Think its the added excitement o not knowing wot your guna get until you dig em..theres this moment when you start and nothing seems to be there that you feel like a big disappointment but no it turns out the potato plant has a rather warped sence of fun ..and then it reward you with your prize for rummaging about it under crackers ..
