Think you'll defo struggle with BS seeds, suggest you get some young plants as back up. Mind you, I think mine are on strike at the moment, no growth at all since I planted them out and they were properly hardened off and everything.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I totally forgot to plant squashes this year (I know I know) so only planted my BNS about a week ago. They're in the greenhouse at the mo to try and get them to grow a bit, they were up in about 3 days from planting, and have told Mme P to leave them alone apart from watering.
I have probably left it too late, but I had the seeds anyway so gave it a go.Bob Leponge

I've got all manner of various squashes, pumpkins and cougettes dotted about my plots (about 15 in total!)...........trouble is, I haven't labeled them so will have to take pot luck as to what is what!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Inspired by you Wayne - I sowed a random selection of squash seeds yesterday in one of my school greenhouses.
It's on the same latitude as you - so about the same conditions.
Yes yes, I admit - the reason they are random is they were all in the bottom of my 'current sowing' seed bag. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say
