There's nothing wrong with 'Minipop' - I've grown it for 4 years, had great crops from it - 4 per plant usually, and my daughter loves it I've also grown it on the same plot as 'Swift', 'Northern Extra Sweet' and 'Lark'. Because it's pollinated by the wind, I just make sure that it's not in a straight line to the other block of corn in either direction. Seems to have worked fine for me

How do you achieve that, Sarah? Especially with 4 different varieties growing simultaneously?

Does anyone happen to know which sweetcorn plants countrywide stores sell? I picked up a pack earlier in the year, but it only said something like 'mini' on it (i'll have to check the label when I go home).

Thanks, and sorry for the thread hijack!

Apologies I didn't explain that well. Not all those varieties at once. Minipop every year, but just one variety per year of the others! So always had another type on the same plot somewhere.
