Pollinate Tomato plants under cover

Probably a daft question but, i have got some tomatoes growing in a couple of blowaways, now presumably i need to leave them open in order for the insects to get in a pollinate the flowers? But wouldnt doing that let the heat out?

You don't need insects to polinate tomatoes. The pollen drops from the girly bit onto the anthers which form the yellow cone at the centre of the flower - all done inside. If you want to ensure the pollen is shed you can just tap the plant each day but in practice, pollen will be shed - that's what it's for!

Watch the temperature in there on these very hot days though. They do need a bit of air. Best of luck.

I figure when I bash into them and what not whilst I'm watering them that's enough.. working so far
