  • How big should sweetcorn be by now?

    Hi all,

How big should sweetcorn be by now? Mine are about 6-8" high and equally broad. Should they have properly taken off yet?

And is there anything I can do to put a rocket under them?

    Ta!

      Hi

There was quite a large thread on this last week. Its on page two at the moment called Corn... how big is yours ( I think)

I can't seem to find how you link a thread. Maybe some one else will do it for me

      Dave

Go one then, your going to have to tell me how to do that. I've just had a second look and still can't see how?

                OK Dave

First go to the page you're looking for and copy the address bar (starts with www.growfruitandveg....) using control and c
Then go to your post and compile the message in go advanced mode
highlight the text that you want to be green ie: click here or whatever you want the words to be
Insert the link using the world with a chain icon at the top and paste your link in there using control and v - make sure that you copy over the http:// that is already there.

                Et voilla!

My sweetcorn are growing but many folks are being affected with plants having germinated and grown on only to come to a dead stop. I have long carrots growing in barrels which are an inch high and have been for weeks on end. Some of the flower exhibitors are getting concerned because their plants have stopped in their tracks as well. Must be the season. Either that or radio active fall out or volcano dust
