I'm renowned for getting names wrong but IF I'm right then inferno chillis are as long (longer in fact) than a sweet pepper but only about half as fat.
I prefer to pick them green (they are a light green colour) as they then have a taste somewhere between a sweet pepper and a chilli. I chop them and add to salads for a really fresh taste.Last edited by teakdesk; 19-07-2011, 02:58 PM.The proof of the growing is in the eating.

by the looks of my peppers, they will be ready to decorate the xmas tree, seriously as we had no early summer at all, they are not doing too badly, and are now growing at a fantastic rate,so nature is making up for the weather it seems, ceyenne seems to be the fastest grower, but all the others are doing well now.
