  • Spent seed compost

I've read somewhere that seed compost is very short on nutrients, to aid germination and root formation.
If so I'm thinking - once it has been used is it considered "spent" like multipurpose compost.
In other words what can I do with it after the seed bed has been emptied of seedlings.
Is there any useful way of recycling it?

Chuck it on the plot or in the compost. You could always revitalize it with a bit of BFB or mix it with some multi-purpose and grow a salad crop in it. I never throw away any growing medium unless it's had diseased plants in it.

Yes, it's an excellent soild conditioner so don't chuck it in the bucket.
