    TS, you been practicing for "get me out of here" in the jungle? Interestingly wasps seem to predate on the caterpillars so they must like sprouts

      I have my brassicas in a bed mixed with my squash plants so can't enviromesh as pollinators won't get through...i checked them over last week and found tiny little white butterflies, quite a few, but no eggs of yet? i found one great big green catarpiller and moved it on...nowt too bad yet.

        I always scatter white turnip seeds in my cabbage bed as the smell is ruputed to be off putting to the C/W's.. it is working wel againl.. i was down the lottie weeding this morning and not a sign of them.

          Yep, a parasitic wasp. I looked into this ~ thinking about their possible application as a good predator. Unfortunately the caterpillar keeps on eating (in fact it eats even more) while the wasp's larvae grow inside it
