pumpkin flowers not opening

hey guys
my pumpkin plant is growing like crazy and its apsoloutely covered in buds both male and female but none have opened into flowers its concerning me as some of these buds have been there for months doing nothing is there anything i can do to give them a nudge in the right direction as im concerned im a bit behind

Mine have only just started to open over the last couple of days, so I wouldn't worry too much. Pumpkin flowers seem to take forever to open, from the time of first spotting the newly emerged flower buds.
