go to Blightwatch.co.uk and register. Then if any blight is found in the surrounding area they will let you know, so you can choose if you want to spray or not.
They will also tell you if the conditions are warm & humid enough for blight to strike..what is called a smith period.....It's all explained on the site anyway. The map on the potato council site (linked from the blightwatch page) shows where there have been blight outbreaks.
