If it's the only seed germinated, are you sure it's a pea?

      Photos?

If you find the answer please let us know I had one in my second setting. Deffo a pea but bright yellow.

How odd. I was going to suggest that a yellow french bean had got mixed up in there, but obviously not.

I have some of these waiting for sowing in November - I shall be looking out for yellow interlopers.

              Hi

I sowed some Meteor last November in an old food tray in the greenhouse to provide pea tips for salads.

Planted out what was left in the spring and they have been fantastic croppers. Had loads of well filled pods off the plants and they are cropping again. This is about the third crop from the same plants and there are still new flowers developing.

Will plant a full row in the allotment this November rather than a small patch in my garden.

              Cheers

If it's deffo a pea, and a yellow one, why don't you grow it for seed, you could have discovered a new variety..You might make some money out of it!

Are the peas yellow, the pods or the leaves/stem?
