It might be the one.
Your search got me a bit intrigued, and I've found a purple skinned one that's described as "yellow fleshed variety" It's called Edgecote Purple. The grower also has loads of unusual varieties.
Edit: Oh, there's another one called Ryecroft Purple, it's in their list of Heritage Varieties.Last edited by endymion; 18-07-2011, 09:49 PM.

I think I grew Ryecroft Purple a few years ago, if so it was very tasty but didn't produce much, was difficult to find against the colour of the soil and was creamy fleshed. Not grown them again but as I said, they did taste nice.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
