That's what I would like to know and I'm not talking about my cosy double upstairs
Despite a 6ft fence all the way around, it would appear someone has helped themselves to my mangetout (although OH thinks I'm imagining things )! I'm not senile yet and I know the netting around my mangetout was secure last night.
The lack of pods when there were loads yesterday AND the fact that the netting was wide open (not gaping you understand - WIIIIIIIIDE) when it was snug, tight and secure yesterday evening all point to a sneak thief (and no it wasn't OH as he didn't get home until very late last night).
OHs' other idea is that teenagers have nipped over the fence for a laugh and helped themselves but oddly nothing else seems to have gone. There again, OH is regularly having a smoke outside the back door, so it's possible he spooked whoever before they could have a good look and 'pick' of other things. There is a bit of a problem with teenagers playing 'chicken', trophy hunting and taking all manner of strange things from gardens and sheds, in our village at the moment.
I'm pretty annoyed and have fastened everything up right and tight now but it'll worry me more as the sweetcorns and pumpkins begin to grow and show .
