Spagetti Squash

1st time grower of these and two of my plants are ROMPING away! One stem literally grows 4-6 inches every day!

Have any of you guys grown these before???

How many fruit should I realistically expect from these plants? I know that not all of the fruit will set but it looks to me like three or four have on each already How many do you think the plant will be able to support? Or should I shut up and just let them get on with it!

Just let them get on with it. For 2 years, I have grown the variety Hasta La Pasta which is very productive and will store well if left to mature on the vine till the plant dies down.

Coooool! I'm growing those too! Although they arent doing as well as my spaghetti monsters!

I am growing one plant to, a friend gave to me and told me it was a courgette plant!!! As it was growing I thought this is not a courgette.

Had one of the plant so far and got another 2/3 growing.

I am growing something called Curcubita Pepo Round which I think might be a type of Spaghetti Squash, but I have no idea really. They are round, green with white stripes and are romping away too.

First time for me too, they are doing really well, far better than my courgettes and pumpkins.

After doing a google search, cucurbita pepo round appears to be a round courgette, best eaten at about 3" .

I grew some last year. I am not sure if I did something wrong, but when I cooked it it turned to mush.

How did you cook it blossom? I thought it would be wrapped in foil and baked?
