So far, not one chilli I've grown has been 'hot'; some have been spicy, some have been very mellow but none worth calling a hot chilli.
And yes, I know some will say they don't like em too hot - but I NEED some to be hot to add the heat when I make my all in chilli jam. [thanks Nigella]. These are just the right heat for one meal for 2.
So I've just picked off one of my old faithfuls, Gelbe Kirschen Cherry Chilli and whoop whoop - we're hot and we aren't even yellow yet. I've used the pva glue pollination on 2 of these so far and they are growing nicely so I'll have some pure to share on the chilli circle later. Brilliant.
