Cucumbers

I grew Cucumbers last year with no problem yets this years in the greenhouse seems to have gone haywire.
the first seeds I planted grew quickly into nice little plants 6" high then promptly died
I planted more seeds they have grown fine I have had the biggest cucumber I have ever seen off one plant, the same plant continues to gow and is now almost 10 feet tall still flowering and fruiting, however the leaves developed yellow spots now they are covered in a white coating stalks included but the cucumbers are still growing.
I had 1 plant that got to 5 feet tall no flowers grew so I got my wife to carry it to the green bin thinking it would be no good She left it in the pot at the side of the bin, next thing I know theres flowers growing and we have picked a few cucumbers from it and the leaves have also got the yellow spots
CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE!!!

First thing to say is that cumbers are very fickle, they seem to give up the ghost at the slightest excuse.

The yellow spots you refer to could be just those leaves dying back or something more serious could you post a pic to help.

The pics below show the same plant at low & high level, this plant is still producing cumbers so you may have nothing to worry about.

The white coating mentioned suggests red spider mite to me, which cucumbers are prone too. I know there are biological controls but I'd guess it is a bit late in the season to introduce. Misting and raising the humidity my help.

My plants are tiny and all of a sudden they have starte getting cucumbers everywhere. It seems very late and I doubt they'll get big enoiugh unless the weather takes a turn so have been a pain really. My first year growing them and understand they are fickle but i'll try again next year

I had the opposite to the post above, my plants started off so badly, they looked like they had a bad case of mosaic virus as well. I left them alone then boom, they got massive and i've been harvesting every week from them!
