We recently saw somebody selling some organic white skinned onions, they looked absolutely amazing but were far too expensive to buy to try.
Has anybody grown them?
If so, what variety, what do they taste like when compared to the more usual red or yellow skinned ones, and where could we get sets from at a reasonable price?
Oh, and should the sets be planted autumn or spring?
