Snadger, which garden centre did you go to? I've been to Cowell's and Peter Barrett recently and didn't see any. Did they have garlic too?

i had a discount code for DT brown, so i got...
5 x purple sprouting broc
5 x cabbage
5 x cauli
5 x kale
all for £3.57 less 15%
oh, and i ahve garlic...cant rememer the name - a new big softneck one!
and electric sets
and shallot sets.

Back from a short trip south, to pick up SHMBO and the dog, were I was able to visit two garden centres. One was less garden and more tat, could only find a very small selection of veg seed
. When I ask whether they had any garlic and onion sets, I got a puzzled look from staff
.
The other GC was Millets Farm, near Abingdon, which has an excellent selection of veg. I picked up onion sets of Electric, Troy, Radar and Senshyu. Also got two garlic, Germidour and Marco
Sometimes you just have to scratch that itch and get dirt under your finger nails.Comment
