My squash harvest hasn't been as good as last year, I couldn't keep up with the watering at the start, then they didn't like the cold nights (down to 9 quite often here) we were getting in July and August

That's an impressive haul, I'm v.jealous.

Poor year for squash here, I only got about 4 small ones. I actually bought squash today in Lidl (locally grown and cheap).

I'm going to "plant" them on the school lotty for tomorrow's class

My ten plants shared 500 litres of horse manure and 750 litres of mushroom compost,and a weekly feed of liquid feed,they were kept well watered and were planted out April under cover givng them plenty of time

Do you wrap them before putting them in the attic? Or is yours "clean" - i.e. none of that nasty glass fibre wool?
