So we know that Lisa has an idea that she needs help with but cannot share in FORUM for some reason. It might be someone steals her idea or it is is illegal.

However if it is an exiting idea thatvwe can all getvinvolved with.......and Lisa, you have come to the right place. There are grapes all over the country and beyond.

Most of us like the idea of exploring new gardening concepts. We might be able to take YOUR idea to the world. You could of course seek your knowledge elsewhere.

However this is a forum. You could approach the RHS or another organisation if you wish.

Still intrigued.........hope you share it with us.

I think you're mistaking the purpose of the forum Lisa_Marie. It's a resource for sharing ideas, seeking information which will then benefit the rest of our community. We're not here to provide private experts. If you had some along, introduced yourself, joined in and asked your questions, you would have been made very welcome, as all our new joiners are. But to just come and request expert advice, privately where no-one else can benefit, and you offer nothing to the community in return, seems a bit rude.
So, that's why everyone is seeming very stroppy. We're a sharing, friendly community, not a bunch of 'experts' waiting to give private advice to people we don't know. Hope that explains our stance

I don't understand why the secrecy about the 'project'. We've done guerrilla gardening on here, and nobody got arrested or lost their job as a result. It's intercropping for goodness sakes; so unless the crops are related to refining drugs or something, in which case just ask questions about similar crops and how they grow.

        Or don't.

You didn't seem to get much of a response on the other forums - so I'm guessing people there feel the same way - they just chose not to question you and just read to the next thread.

You have got to agree that coming onto a forum and asking to meet up with people is a tad strange; it's not a dating site, it's a place to exchange information.

To be on the safe side peeps, don't post your address, phone number, nor any other personal info on forums. You never know who might turn up on your doorstep claiming to be a friendly expert

          Good luck with your search

I won't even be opening any further responses on this thread. For me it has run its course and nothing positive is going to come out of it.

                and sisters? meep.

I've had an unsolicited PM from Lisa-Marie and have reiterated the points made by myself and others and copied our Sarz into the response. I am still unsure whether this is pure and unadulterated naivety or a complete wind-up.

So I am definitely OOUT this time.

Good luck with the project, whatever it may be. Don't get hurt along the way.

And on that note, I'm closing this thread. Lisa_Marie, if you want to start a new thread specifically asking about inter-cropping, rather than asking for an expert, I'll sticky it so that everyone can join in. You never know, we might all learn something, which, funnily enough is what we're here for.

If all you want is a tame 'expert' and not to join a friendly community, I suggest you put a classified Ad in some of the gardening press.
