          * poddles off to check.
          Being a naturally curious female I clicked on the link and then Google translated it from Spanish. To save you all the bother this is the description of the courgette:
          Mata unbranched very early, fine fruit oblong rounded ends and white coloration. Highly productive plant while removing it will not cease to bear fruit squash. Method of Cultivation : It is sown from February to May, shock, placing 6-8 seeds should be put to soak a few hours before planting. It is advisable to cover the seed with compost. Once the plants are well established, clear, leaving only 2-3 plants per hill. You need plenty of watering especially when she starts to bear fruit.
          I hope you "shocked" your seeds, Zaz?

                They must be huge plants "leaving only 2-3 plants per hill!" No wonder they need to be shocked!

                  Is the hunt off?

                  I have a packet of squash/courgette someone brought me back off their holiday called Calabacín Virginia 3.

                  The courgettes on the packet are slightly more fatter at the end than the stock photo.

                    When I open the packet it must be one hell of a shock for the poor dears, just as well it doesn't frighten the life out of them

                      Why? Do you pull faces at them?

                        YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

                        Get in.

                        I went to see the HSL ladies, and lo and behold 'we've got some of them' - so I am the proud owner of a bag of 6 seeds.

                        I'm over the proverbial.
