        'Parantly it dates back to early mariners naming their boats and ships after their wives to remind them of their loved ones during long voyages and the custom of referring to them as "she" stuck even after ships started being name other things.
        Personally, I know I only have to look at a ship to know they are all female. I get quite emotional when I see one and cannot bare to see film footage of them sinking!
        Going to see "Titanic" was not a good night out......

            Also a bad night as it's a truely terrible film that we all know the ending of anyway
