    The book explains how intestinal worms & other bugs are killed in a properly constructed compost heap: it's a combination of heat & time (high heat or long time).

    I keep banging on about this book, but it is awesome

      Back to your question, Kathyd, they do not need to be in the gh/polytunnel. Try re-sowing in Feb-March, outdoors.
