...speaking of which I think I'm going to try grafting a few spare toms next year (as per the mag). Possibly even my aubs too, seeing as I always fail with those.

Somehow, god knows how I went outside to grab something from the garage and noticed I had a pot of french bean plants (3) I hadn't composted yet and they had regenerated , grown about 2 foot and were budding......
I hadn.t been round the back there for weeks but I guess it was the sunniest spot in the garden.

Must be a timing issue with the new upgrade, G4's last post is timed at 5.14pm and it isn't that time yet. Must have a look to see if there is somewhere to post the noticible bugs. There's a similar situation with the new baby forecast post

I have noticed a couple of strawbs down the garden, plus raspberries. We had a heavy frost and ice, her last night, though!

Had roses and marigolds in bloom at the lottie yesterday... Had a proper frost last night though, so maybe winter was just busy elsewhere until now.

Yes, hollyhocks still flowering here, chillies are still ripening in the gh (but they don't have any heat in them, so a waste of time really: tasteless chillies).
Looking out the window I can see passion flower, primroses and nigella in flower, and at school the pelargoniums are still blooming despite lows of 2c
