It's still holding up mild here (the posh bit of Essex).
It is strange, i'm gonna have to cut the grass again...in December!
Its affecting the fishing too, they dont know if they're coming or going.
Veg wise, everything is growing nicely still, onions have come through well, shallots all sprouting.
Still crossing my fingers for some white stuff on the 25th (just for the kids...honest!)
I had a holiday - we passed through Cumbria. Bloomin' glorious it was.
That must have been the week we had summer
Was it July? I remember that thread cos we went campin in Scotland and it was bladdy boiling. Himself got a bit of sunburn
Our toms in the blowaways have been ignored since October, mainly cos they've been rubbish, but some are still alive. On our new plot, our neighbour has a yellow pear shaped cherry bush tomato plant still going strong. No protection/cover whatsoever.
My Jalapeños are still flowering, and I have 1 tomato plant outside, that I chopped off at the base and it decided it was not done and now has tomatoes growing on it still haha.
...speaking of which I think I'm going to try grafting a few spare toms next year (as per the mag). Possibly even my aubs too, seeing as I always fail with those.
