Saving Coriander seed

I have left a few coriander plants to go to seed for next year. They still have lots of flowers on them, will they be ok in this snow or should I try and protect them with fleece?

My self-seeders survived 2 hard winters and germinated in the spring, no protection


clarification: the seeds survived, not the plants. Coriander is an annual

I thought it was very temperature sensitive, so have only tried it on widowsills.

As above, I have it coming up everywhere - even through gravel. I forgot I sowed it a couple of years back, but each year it comes back and each year it seeds itsself, as I forget its there.

I gave up with it, so lack of effort seems to work very well for me! It took an *age* to germinate mind.

Rocketron, I usually grow it in pots in the greenhouse and they never really do that well. This year I just chucked the seed into the ground and have had the best crop ever. I just wish I had done more.

The picture shows it just going to seed after i'd cut it down twice.

No, the plant doesn't, it's an annual, but the seeds do survive, and come back to life in the spring
