What Potatoes are we all growing next year, as usual have gone over the top, I buy all my tatties from tattieman, with some picked up locally when I see them.

I have decided to try Lady Chrystl this year alongside some other newbies I think, but so many varieties means too many choices...so confused.
Could we do this as a poll, do you think, to see what the Grape Favourites are? It might help other undecided Grapes...Pretty Please

Where do you find potato day events please, as I've never heard of them? Wouldn't mind going to one.

Will be growing Ulster Classic as earlies as normal, Salad Blue were great as second earlies last year so they're getting another outing, so much better than Charlottes and more interesting on the plate. Main crop this year will be Romano, Markies, Pink Fir Apple (always grow some of them) and am trying Highland Burgandy Red for something different

Well I overdid my order this year (I blame JBA! - oh and Carol the Carrot who got me started on these)

So I'm growing Kestrel, Red Duke of York, Ulster Prince, Salad Blue, Highland Burgundy and Maxine.

Lord knows what I was thinking when I put that order in but I have high hopes!

Kestrel 2nd earlies outside.

I'm also going to sample a few Shetland Blacks.

what are the best variety for patio bags? I want to grow potato's that are good for roasting/mashing?
